1. In a game of blackjack (a double deck) when encountering a situation where it appears that the dealer is hitting on a soft 17 and it’s unlikely that he has a blackjack, if he has a 5 and you have an 8 and 5, you should stand.

Strategy

1. A game of single deck blackjack, in which the dealer is assumed not to have reached a blackjack and also hits on a soft 17, if he has an 8 and you have a 9 and 5, it would be preferable for you to hit.
2. When it’s conceivable that the dealer doesn’t have a blackjack (single deck) while hitting on a soft 17, if he has a 10 and you have a 3 and 2, it would be preferable for you to hit.
3. Always hit on 12-16 when dealer shows 7 or higher.
4. When playing with two decks, in case it appears that the dealer doesn’t have a blackjack while standing on a soft 17, if he has a 6 and you have a 6 and 5, you’d better double down.
5. When playing with two decks, in case it appears that the dealer doesn’t have a blackjack while standing on a soft 17, if he has a 6 and you have an 8 and Ace, you’d better stand.
